Judicial Review

In simple words Judicial review is another form of an Appeal. Judicial review is by which an individual can seek redress against the decisions of any public bodies such as UKBA or a Tribunal. Especially when an application is refused without a right of appeal or such right has been exhausted, Judicial Review is filed as a last resort.

Typical scenarios might include an application for judicial review of the Home Office’s refusal of naturalisation as a British citizen, or to request an order to compel the Home Office to make a decision on an application that has been outstanding for a number of years.
